House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that if the Democrats retake the House in November that they will launch investigations into the Bush Administration.
...Pelosi said in an interview last week that a Democratic House would launch a series of investigations of the Bush Administration, beginning with the White House's first-term energy task force and probably including the use of intelligence in the run-up to the invasion of Iraq. Pelosi denied Republican allegations that a Democratic House would move quickly to impeach President Bush. But, she said of the planned investigations, "You never know where it leads to."
There is no doubt in my mind the Democrats will try and impeach Bush if the gain control of the House. I dont think they will win enough seats as of now, although it seems they will make some gains in November. But I hope that all Democratic candidates are asked about this because the Dem Party is trying to keep impeachment hush-hush until after the election. Republicans and Conservatives cannot let this happen.
