Congressman Jack Murtha decided to basically convict some marines who he clams murdered a bunch of civilians in Iraq. Remember now, Murtha was in the Marine Corps for more than 30 years, now he does everything in his power to crap on the Corps. Here is a small transcript of what he said last night to Chris Matthews.
Matthews: Lete me as you Mr. Murtha to give us some detail about that. Draw us a picture of what happened at Haditha.
Murtha: Well, Ill tell you exactly what happened. One Marine was killed and the Marines just said we're going to take care - we dont know who the enemy is, the pressure was too much on them, so they went into houses and they actually killed civilians. And, and -
Matthews: was this My Lai? Was this a case of - when you say cold blood congressman, a lot of ;eople think you're basically saying you got some civilians sitting in a room around a field and they're executed.
Murtha: That's exactly it.
Thank you John Murtha for trying to make people hate our troops like they did during Vietnam. He never gives them credit for anything, only to undermine the war effort and hurt the president. How this kind of cowardess and ignorance can get elected, Ill never know. This man is a disgrace to his country.
