While playing Hardball, liberal pioneer Sen. Ted Kennedy says that the National Anthem should be sung in English. Now most of you might think that is common sense, but in America today nothing is. Here was the short exchange:
Chris Matthews: Do you think the President was right when he said the other day that we ought to have an English language Star Spangled Banner?
Kennedy: I think the Star Spangled Banner should be sung in English. Period.
I must admit Im shocked and delighted at that answer! Maybe there is hope.
